YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. The government has allocated around 220 million drams for organizing the 28th Independence Day celebrations on September 21st, Chief of Staff of the Pashinyan Administration Eduard Aghajanyan told a news conference today.

He said the main events will kick off 11:00, September 21 at the Gyumri central park.

“Famous bars and cafes of Yerevan will operate at the park in individual stands until 23:00,” he added.

Aghajanyan said musical venues for rock, jazz, pop, classical and Armenian folk music fans will be organized in the city’s downtown.

Celebrations will also be organized in Yerevan and other provinces. Public discussions, film screenings and exhibitions will take place during the day.
