YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. “Hayastani Hanrapetutyun” newspaper writes, “Prime Minister of Armenia NIkol Pashinyan will pay a working visit to the USA on September 21. He is scheduled to hold a number of meetings with the Armenian community and business circle, as well as a number of bilateral meetings with foreign partners in the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session.

“Hayastani Hanrapetutyun” newspaper talked with member of “My step” parliamentary faction Sos Avetisyan about the agenda of the PM’s visit to the USA.  According to him, among the priorities of the authorities of Armenia is carrying out the economic revolution and in that context meeting with the U.S.-Armenian community is quite reasonable. “For years different corrupt deals were made in Armenia as a result of which an atmosphere of distrust has been established towards Armenia. Meeting with those people personally and explaining them that from now on everything is normal in Armenia will be a very right step, particularly during this transitional period”, he said.
