YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. 250 volunteers have been selected for the upcoming World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2019) in Yerevan.

Today the volunteers gathered for a briefing and training.

WCIT 2019 steering committee president Alexander Yesayan told the volunteers that they will play a very important role during the congress.

“The first interaction that the guests will have with you will be very important in their impressions. This isn’t as much about the volunteer’s personal behavior but rather the team behavior. If you succeed in teamwork it will be a good experience for you in organizing this event and also during your lives. Therefore, treat it very seriously,” Yesayan told the volunteers.

The 250 volunteers have been selected from 400 submissions.

WCIT 2019 will take place in Yerevan October 6-9.
