YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS. 18 new pre-schools will be opened in 8 provinces of Armenia by September 1st, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan said during a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on August 20.

“This has been implemented every year as part of the education improvement program. We opened 17 last year,” he said, adding that the brand new pre-schools will be completely equipped by September 1.

The PM mentioned that they’ve agreed that all renovated pre-schools, schools and kindergartens must have brand new equipment.

Harutyunyan also mentioned that they are currently drafting a bill on new models of pre-schools which will be offered to communities.
