US Embassy in Turkey offers condolences over Patriarch Mesrob II’s death
YEREVAN, MARCH 8, ARMENPRESS. The Embassy of the United States in Turkey has offered condolences over the passing of Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople Mesrob II Mutafyan.
“Our deepest condolences on the passing of Armenian Orthodox Patriarch Archbishop Mesrob Mutafyan”, the American embassy tweeted.
Mesrob II died March 8 at the age of 62 following many years of suffering from dementia. He was in a coma for more than 10 years.
