Fragging leaves senior lieutenant dead at Armenian military base
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 12, ARMENPRESS. A senior lieutenant of the Armenian armed forces has been gunned down by one of his co-servicemen while on duty at a military base late afternoon February 11 in what authorities suspect to be murder.
The Investigative Committee said in a news release that the perpetrator, a private, intentionally fired his machine gun at senior Lieutenant Mesrop Grigoryan with intent to kill. Grigoryan was killed instantly.
The private has been arrested and a criminal case has been launched.
