YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko believes in the necessity of taking such measures that will force NATO to recognize the Collective Security Treaty organization (CSTO). The Belarusian President stated at the CSTO Collective Security Council session in Yerevan that if they ask NATO to recognize the CSTO, it will never do that. “We must act in a way to force them to recognize our Organization”, “Armenpress” reports Lukashenko saying.

According to the President of Belarus, the states have agreed to set a group of servicemen and experts in other spheres with the participation of CSTO Gen-Sec. Nikolay Bordyuzha. “We will involve specialists first of all from Russia and the other states. It is necessary to set up good priorities, in order to move our Organization to a serious level, so as others respect us but not to be frightened, and so that we do not persuade anyone to recognize us”, Lukashenko said.

He added that the priorities of Belarus for CSTO will be elaborated in detail and submitted to the member states of the Organization.
