Armenian chess team not to participate in World Chess Olympiad in Baku
YEREVAN, JULY 25, ARMENPRESS. The World Chess Olympiad is going to be held in Baku on September 1.
In an interview with “Armenpress”, first Vice-President of the Chess Federation of Armenia, grandmaster Smbat Lputyan said the Armenian chess team will not depart for Baku and will not take part in the World Chess Olympiad.
He said the decision was made based on the discussion results at the Federation.
