Armenian Vice President of “Microsoft”: You can have great dreams being small country
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 12, ARMENPRESS. “Microsoft” Vice President Vahe Torosyan was greatly excited seeing students and pupils at the Presidential Palace of Armenia, who received awards from the President of the country. Being born and growing up in Paris, Vahe Torosyan received Armenian upbringing and now is glad to return to his Armenian roots. “I mentioned during the meeting with the President a little ago that my heart has always been with Armenians. And I quickly realized, first of all thank to my parents, that being hard working, and returning to Armenia with great results will be the best way to contribute to my motherland. When in 2006 I decided to open “Microsoft” office in Armenia, first of all I was thinking about you, the younger generation”, “Armenpress” reports, Vahe Torosyan informed.
He describes knowledge, particularly in digital and high-tech sector, as the best foundation for future. “You should never forget that size does not matter in the sphere of modern technologies: In the current interconnected world you can be a small company, a small country, but have great dreams”, Torosyan said, adding that he wishes the new generation to do their best for Armenia.
