YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. An Armenian died resulting in the airstrike of terrorist groups in Damascus on September 3. “Armenpress” was informed on the latter from “Perio News” Facebook page. The deceased is Armenian from Damascus Sargis Parsikian.  

As Syrian “SANA” news agency informs, the Syrian army and Hezbollah fighters achieved success in Zabadani located in north-south of Damascus, liberating several buildings from the terrorists. Tens of terrorists were injured and killed in the military operations.

The Syrian army has been fighting dozens of armed groups for more than 4 years attempting to reestablish stability and security in the country. According to UN data, the number of victims in the Syrian conflict exceeds 220 thousand.
