OSCE contest challenges creative community to raise awareness of link between climate change and security

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. To help raise awareness about security risks linked to climate change, the OSCE has launched an international contest in partnership with eYeka, a global community of talented creators, to find a compelling image that conveys the important message that climate change increases the risk of conflict. “Armenpress” was informed from OSCE Office in Yerevan that prizes totaling EUR 2,000 for the top three designs will be awarded (First prize: EUR 1,000; Second prize: EUR 600; Third prize: EUR 400).

For the participation of the contest it is necessary to present an image conveying the important message that climate change increases the risk of conflict. The deadline for submitting contest entries is 22 September. Citizens of the OSCE’s 57 participating States, 11 Partner countries and citizens across the OSCE region are eligible to participate.
