GAVAR, AUGUST 14, ARMENPRESS. In hot summer months the Sevan coast is not only loaded with summer residents from Yerevan and regions of Armenia but also with tourists from abroad.

Davit Torosyan, a representative of Sevan tourist agency, informed Armenpress that the flow of foreign tourist increased especially in August. The tourists are mainly from Iran, Russia, France, Italy, Slovenia, Poland, and Romania.

“Due to our agency, daily 30 foreign tourists visit Sevan. The majority of the tourists is from the Islamic Republic of Iran.  According to approximate calculations and forecasts, the number of tourists visiting Sevan will reach to 120 thousand at the end of the season” said Davit Torosyan.
