YEREVAN, AUGUST 14, ARMENPRESS. Swedish actor and martial artist Dolph Lundgren is starring in Kindergarten Cop 2, filling Arnold Schwarzenegger’s shoes in the straight-to-DVD sequel from Universal’s 1440 Entertainment. Armenpress reports the aforementioned referring to ”Entertainment Weekly”

Schwarzenegger and Lundgren worked together on 2010’s The Expendables, and Lundgren has a stack of tough-guy roles on his resume, including his vulgar and volatile Expendables character Gunner Jensen and rival boxer Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. Manly Movie broke the news Thursday, sharing photos of Lundgren on set in Vancouver.

According to The Wrap, Lundgren will not be resurrecting the role of Detective John Kimble from Ivan Reitman’s 1990 original. Naturally, he’s still playing a cop who goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher, but this time it’s to find a missing flash drive from the Federal Witness Protection Program.
