YEREVAN, 28 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. Argentina’s top Clarin newspaper published Argentine journalist Marcelo Cantelmi’s interview with President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan in the newspaper’s April 27 edition. In the interview, Bako Sahakyan particularly touched upon Artsakh’s unification with Armenia and Russia’s sale of weapons to Azerbaijan.

“We aspire to eventually unite with Armenia. We live with that great desire, but the time hasn’t come yet,” Bako Sahakyan mentioned, as “Armenpress” reports.

The President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic also talked about Russia’s sale of weapons to Azerbaijan. Although he mentioned that he didn’t know if Russia would continue to sell weapons to Azerbaijan or not, he emphasized that Russia provides assistance to Karabakh forces. “Our officers train with their Russian colleagues from time to time. We’re not only concerned about Russia, but other neighboring countries and non-neighboring countries like Israel, which can sell weapons to an absolutely dangerous country,” he mentioned.
