Andrzej Kasprzyk to attend monitoring in Karabakh’s Martakert Region
YEREVAN, MARCH 3, ARMENPRESS: On March 4, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the north-west direction of the Talish village of the NKR Martakert region. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed Armenpress about it.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and staff member of the Office Peter Svedberg (Sweden), as well as by Head of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Colonel Markus Widmer (Switzerland).
From the opposite side of the Line of Contact, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), as well as by representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Colonel Tuncay Sevim (Turkey).
The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
