Armenia interested in deepening cooperation with India: PM

YEREVAN, AUGUST 29, ARMENPRESS: The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan hosted today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Armenia Suresh Babu. The Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Government of Armenia informed Armenpress that highly evaluating the current level of the Armenian-Indian relations, Hovik Abrahamyan stated: “Armenia is interested in the further deepening and expansion of the friendly relations with India. There is a great potential between our countries to develop more the bilateral cooperation in different fields”. The Armenia’s PM highlighted the mutual visits of the high-ranking officials, which will give a new impetus to the development of the Armenian-Indian relations. 
The Head of the Government and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Armenia discussed a wide range of issues related to the activation of the trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and India. Suresh Babu informed that in the nearest future some Armenian IT companies will visit India to take part in a major exhibition. The parties expressed hope that it will also contribute to the implementation of new joint projects.
