YEREVAN, APRIL 4, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian freestyle wrestler 86 kg Musa Murtazaliev defeating the Irish Alexander Daul, won the bronze medal in the freestyle wrestling of the Europe championship. This tournament was over in Vantaa city of Finland on April 4.

Armenpress reports that our athlete conceding the rival by 4:6 score during the tournament was able to equalize the score 6:6 and won the bronze medal according to the “last point” rule. 

Thus, Armenia’s freestyle wrestlers won 3 medals at European Championship: 70 kg Grigor Grigoryan won silver medal and 57 kg Garik Barseghyan and Musa Murtazaliev received bronze awards.

Greek-Roman style wrestlers will launch their tournament on April 5.
