YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS: The Armenians, who died or were wounded on the road from the Aleppo’s Airport, arrived to Syria on September 11 by the Syrian Airlines flight Yerevan-Aleppo. To be safer, they left the Aleppo’s Airport in group and as the road was closed, they decided to get to town by a bypassing road, but got under the fire of the free Syrian army. In the conversation with Armenpress the Press Secretary of the National Primacy Zhirayr Reyisyan mentioned that 4 Armenians died and 13-14 people were wounded. The wounded were transferred to Aleppo’s hospitals with different levels of bodily injuries. Some of the wounded have already been operated on and in general, their condition currently is not so worrying.

Reyisyan also stated that in the area of the National Primacy a bomb was exploded, but fortunately nobody was hurt, only the building was slightly damaged. According to him, currently shots in Aleppo have been decreased.

We were informed in the Facebook page of the Aleppo Armenians that the militaries opened fire on 6 cars driving from the Aleppo’s Airport.

Syrian Armenians Harut Sulavyan, Arsen Pepejyan, Hrach Pepejyan and Mesrop Achemyan appeared to be under fire and died on the secondary road leading from the Aleppo Airport to Aleppo city.
