YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS:

National Self-Determination Union Party has not reached success in cooperation with other parties, leader of the party Paruyr Hayrikyan told Armenpress. According to him, opposition parties and extra-parliamentary forces should have gathered over the programs of the NSDU. "The ANC too did not have the sense to respond to my call. Our party participating alone in the forthcoming parliamentary elections may get more than 20% of votes. Unless we make a final decision by March, it will mean we have been left out of the game," Hayrikyan said. He noted that in case of participation the result will be the appearance of a new political force in the arena but it will not be possible to reach qualitative changes. "We have not succeeded in coming into agreement with parties. Theoretically the majority agreed to cooperation, many expressed their amazement but practically only few agreed," Hayrikyan said. He added that his party decided to return to its roots and build a free Armenia on them.
