YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. People who made serious contributions in the sectors of culture, art and science gathered at the Presidential Palace today. The works of 13 of them were awarded Republic of Armenia State Awards: the specialized commissionsin the corresponding spheres adopted the decision. The awards were grantedby the President of the Republic of Armenia.
The Commission unanimously elected three times by a secret voting Hakob Mowses’s “The Seventh Hunt” in the sphere of literature and publicity. According to the Commission, the language of the collection is original, deep and attractive.
Film DirectorVahe Kevorkov, camera operators Samvel Babayan and Hayk Badalyan, scriptwriter Anna Derdzakyan and film editor Artur Parsyan created “Armenia. From Sea to Sea” documentary, which tells about the voyage of Zori Balayan and “Armenia” ship.
Architect Narek Sargsyan, constructor Paul Chatalbashyan and director of “Spitak Tnak” LtD Stepan Akhoyan received the award for the administrative complex built on Vazgen Sargsyan street.
Ashot Saghyan, Anna Mkrtchyan and Hayarpi Simonyan were awarded in the sphere of exact and natural sciences.
