Memorandum between Armenian Union of Russia and Diaspora Minister to strengthen Diaspora-Homeland tie

YEREVAN, APRIL 14, ARMENPRESS. The aim of the Memorandum signed among the Ministry of Diaspora and the World Armenian Congress, as well as Armenian Union of Russia on April 14 is to make the cooperation closer and the joint work activity more efficient. Armenpress reports that after signing the Memorandum at the Ministry of Diaspora the acting Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan underscored that the work with the structure is efficient and the new Memorandum will give an opportunity to create new chances for cooperation.

Hranush Hakobyan attaches great importance to two points in the Memorandum: the implementation of the events list ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and the Armenian preservation. “We attach great importance to the preservation of the Mother tongue and the establishment of schools in the colonial states of the Diaspora regarding the Armenian preservation,” Hranush Hakobyan said.
