Azerbaijani caviar diplomacy ambitions failed in PACE: Zaruhi Postanjyan

YEREVAN, JULY 1, ARMENPRESS. The caviar diplomacy ambitions of Azerbaijan recorded another failure during the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which was held in Strasbourg on June 24-28. The Deputy from "Heritage" fraction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Zaruhi Postanjyan stated this at the course of the press conference held on July 1. She noted that the PACE summer session began with anti-Armenian propaganda. As reports "Armenpress" Zaruhi Postanjyan underscored: "A document was put into a circulation, which introduced Armenia as an aggressor. That was organized on Azerbaijan's initiative, which was born as a result of caviar diplomacy. Notwithstanding, it failed."

Among other things the Deputy from "Heritage" fraction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Zaruhi Postanjyan noted that there were quite interesting issues regarding Armenia involved in the agenda. "The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia made remarks on behalf of the Committee of Ministers of PACE and answered the questions. There were also interesting discussions regarding the Middle East. I also had made remarks at the course of the discussions and touched upon the problems the Syrian-Armenians have to face with," Zaruhi Postanjyan noted.
