Georgian-Armenian GM Giorgi Bagaturov occupies 2nd place in Malatya Golden Apricot tournament

YEREVAN, JUNE 24, ARMENPRESS. Georgian-Armenian chess Grand Master Giorgi Bagaturov occupies 2nd place at the Golden Apricot tournament that was held in Malatya, Turkey. The Chess Federation of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that GM Giorgi Bagaturov (Georgia) scored 6,5 points out of 9 and shared 2nd-4th places among 36 participants at the Golden Apricot tournament that was held in Malatya, Turkey.

Bagaturov was only half a point behind the winner – IM Davit Benidze (Georgia).
