Shakhtar” wants to keep Mkhitaryan

YEREVAN, JUNE 19, ARMENPRESS: Director General of Donetsk “Shakhtar” Sergey Palkin reverberated to the news relating to transfer of Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

“Armenpress” reports that during the interview given to Russian “Izvestia” Palkin said that he did not have any contacts with representatives of “Liverpool”. “You know, there is various information about Mkhitaryan’s transfer but I have to say that I will do me best to keep him in our team,” he said.

He mentioned that Mkhitaryan is an important player for his team but they are ready to listen to the suggestions relating to his transfer. “We already lost Fernandinho and Willian who were also important players,” added Palkin.

Several English and international media recently have informed that midfielder of Armenian national football team and “Shakhtar” will play for “Liverpool”. English club is ready to pay 22 million pounds for the player.
