In week period export volumes of apricots from Armenia exceeded indicators of 2012

YEREVAN, JUNE 19, ARMENPRESS: In one week period the Spayka Company has exported from the Republic of Armenia three thousand tons of apricots, which exceeds the indicator of the year of 2012. This was stated by the Head of Project Management Department of Spayka Transportation Company Karen Baghdasaryan at the press conference, stating that during the previous years 12-13 thousand tons of apricots were exported from Armenia. As reported by Armenpress, concerning the purchase price of the apricots Karen Baghdasaryan noted that in 2013 the price fluctuates between 400-500 AMD per kilogram. The Head of Project Management Department of Spayka Transportation Company said that during the last two years the cooperation with the Russian supermarkets was settled and now the Armenian harvest is among the most famous products.

In mid June the harvesting of apricot was launched in the Republic of Armenia. The Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan instructed to make the price for the purchase of apricots 500 AMD.
