Writers’ Union of Armenia holds award of unpublished works

YEREVAN, JUNE 18, ARMENPRESS: In support of Union of Armenians in Russia and World Armenian congress Writers’ Union of Armenia implements literary award in which are presented works of writers from different genres.

“Armenpress” informs that the writers represented in the award gave their works with aliases in order the members of jury who will get acquainted with the works are not able to understand whose work it is for giving fairer estimation. President of the Writers’ Union Levon Ananyan informed that from 20 candidates will winn only 5. “Winner writers will receive as a gift 1 600 000 AMD which will be provided by Union of Armenians in Russia and World Armenian congress,” informed Ananyan.

The members of jury have 17 days for reading the works after which on July 4 the award will take place and the names of winners will be known. In the award are represented unpublished works.
