YEREVAN, JUNE 18, ARMENPRESS: The program mission “Everyone goes to Yerevan” held in Yerevan on June 12 – June 16 has reached its objectives. “Armenpress” reports that such estimation gave co-founder of the program Melis Cubits during the press conference on June 18.
“This program showed that the civil initiative exists in 21st century and we should believe and implement the first step. We need not to leave to politicians the decision which nations can contact with each other, it can be decided by societies,” he said. In his opinion all 40 events which were held in framework of the program were interesting.
Events were held in Yerevan, Gyumri, Tsakhadzor, Tatev and etc. In the framework of the initiative around 500 foreign guests arrived in Yerevan, including around 200 cultural figures, businessmen and journalists from Estonia.
The interlocutor expressed hope that Armenian-Estonian relations will have new development.
In framework of the program in Yerevan took place the concert of DDT rock band on June 16. The program was supported by Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Foreign affairs.
