YEREVAN, MAY 25, ARMENPRESS. Ivan Volinkin - the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia handed over his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. Public Relations and Media Department of the Office of the President informed Armenpress that the President congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation, wished success in that high and responsible position and expressed hope that during his service Ambassador Volinkin will make effort in the fortification of Armenian-Russian high-level political relations and extension of cooperation. Serzh Sargsyan stressed that our country’s relations with the strategic ally Russia are getting deeper each year in all the spheres.
