"Dorians" to express their gratitude to fans via open-air concert

YEREVAN, MAY 25, ARMENPRESS. "Dorians" rock band will express its gratitude to the fans for their support in "Eurovision" via an open-air concert. The entrance will be free of charge. The Public Relations Department of the rock band informed "Armenpress" that the concert will be held within the framework of Cafesjian Center for the Arts annual concert program dedicated to the Children's Day on June 1 in Cascade. "Dorians" will launch their performance at 21:00.

The organizers of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, SVT and the EBU, have revealed the running order for the Grand Final on Saturday. The running order was determined by the producers of show (SVT) and approved by the EBU Executive Supervisor, Jon Ola Sand and the Reference Group.

The most popular Armenian rock band Dorians representedArmeniain the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, with the song Lonely Planet, written by Tony Iommi, the guitarist and songwriter of Black Sabbath, and Armenian lyricist Vardan Zadoyan.

The Grand Final was broadcast live in all participating countries. Viewers and professional juries in 39 participating countries participated in the voting. Viewers and professional juries each had a 50 percent stake in the outcome. The professional juries featured six members in each country. The televoting window was opened after all the songs have been performed.

26 wonderful acts sang their hearts out on stage, competing for the ultimate prize; the title of winner of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.

However, there could be just one winner and that was Emmelie de Forest from Denmark who stormed to victory with 281 points!
