Armenian International Master Andranik Matikozyan won in Metropolitan Chess Tournament

YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian International Master Andranik Matikozyan has become the winner of the Metropolitan Chess Tournament. As reported by Armenpress, quoting the official website of the Armenian Chess Federation, the Armenian chess player scored 7,5 points out of 10 and solely took the first prize at the 27th Metropolitan Chess Tournament that was held in Los Angeles, USA. At the same time Andranik exceeded the Grand Master norm by half a point.

This is Matikozyan’s second Grand Master norm.
