Edward Nalbandyan hosted newly appointed Ambassador of Russia

YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan hosted the newly appointed Ambassador the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Ivan Volinkin on the occasion of handing over the copies of his credentials. The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that Minister Nalbandyan congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his mission. Among other things Edward Nalbandyan underscored: "Our peoples are linked together with an age-old friendship and mutual trust and we build future on this very foundation by strengthening our relations, which become more comprehensive year by year involving new perspective directions for cooperation."

In turn, Ambassador Volinkin expressed his gratitude for the reception and kind wishes, and assured that he will spare no effort for farther strengthening and development of the present high-level cooperation between Armenia and Russia.
