Newly assigned UAE Ambassador handed copies of credentials to Edward Nalbandyan

YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan hosted the newly assigned Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi (Residence in Teheran) on the occasion of handing the copies of credentials. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, at the meeting held on May 23 the Minister Nalbandyan congratulated the newly assigned Ambassador and expressed his hope that Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi will have his considerable contribution in the further development of the relations between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates.

The Armenian Minister emphasized as well that Armenia highly evaluates the current relations of the two countries and is ready to assist the newly assigned Ambassador in their strengthening and expansion.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception the Ambassador Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi stated that the United Arab Emirates consider the development of the relations with Armenia to be quite important and assured that he will spare no effort in that direction.

The interlocutors discussed the implemented actions to activate the dialogue and expand the legal field.

At the meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan and the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi touched upon the necessity to open UAE Embassy in Yerevan.
