Issues on activation of Armenian-Portuguese cooperation in security sphere discussed in Portugal

YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS: Secretary of National Security Council of Armenia Artur Baghdasaryan, who is currently in Portugal with a working visit, has had a meeting with Francisco Almeida Leite state secretary of external relations for cooperation and security issues. As Armenpress was informed from press service of National Security Council of Armenia, interlocutors had discussed a wide range of issues on Armenia-Portuguese relations. The lack of cooperation programs in political, economic, security and cultural spheres was underlined at the meeting.
At the meeting sides reached an agreement to activate Armenian-Portuguese dialogue in different directions and in this regards visit of Portuguese delegation to Armenia will take place in autumn.
The next meeting of Artur Baghdasaryan was with Gilberto Geronimo, advisor-ambassador of Portuguese government on security and diplomacy. Sides have touched on issues regarding external policy and cooperation in security sphere.
Artur Baghdasaryan accompanied by Honorary Consul of Armenia Mikael Gyulbenkyan visited fund and museum after Galust Gyulbenkyan.
