YEREVAN, MAY 22, ARMENPRESS. Aleppo-Armenian Minas Kantarjyan, who moved to Armenia from Syria about 10 months ago, has invented a sieve printing house in the motherland. In a conversation with "Armenpress" Kantarjyan stated that he invented the printing here in Armenia in association with his friend Aleksan Karadanayan. They had been engaged in the same business for a number of years in Syria as well, where they owned one of the best printing houses. Among other things Minas Kantarjyan stated: "I am hopeful that our business will gradually increase and we shall have a large printing house in Armenia, like one he owned in Aleppo."

In turn, Aleksan Karadanayan underscored: "Aleppo was the first business centre of the Near East. People used to buy a lot of clothes from Aleppo. This means, that there was a huge stream from the foreign countries. Notwithstanding, it was much easer to find a customer there, as each district was famous for certain handicraft masters."
