Tigran Sargsyan: Minimum wage intended to be made 45,000 AMD from July 1

YEREVAN, MAY 20, ARMENPRESS: Calculations are being carried out at the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the direction of increasing the wages. As reported by Armenpress, this was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sragsyan at the session of the National Assembly of Armenia held on May 20.

“Today we are calculating and will present a document, including all the political approaches in the field of the wage”, - said Tigran Sargsyan.

The Prime Minister of Armenia stated that they intend to increase the minimum salary as soon as possible. “We are currently implementing calculations to increase the minimum wage to 45,000 AMD from July 1 2013. This is a very serious change”, - said Tigran Sargsyan.

From January 1 2013 the minimum wage in the Republic of Armenia has been 35,000 AMD monthly.
