Seyran Ohanyan visited Noyemberyan military unit: Artsrun Hovhannisyan clarifies news on shots towards Minister’s helicopter

YEREVAN, MAY 20, ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan visited the Noyemberyan military unit of Tavush Marz on May 19, where a soldier has recently been killed. As Armenpress was informed by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the visit of Seyran Ohanyan was conditioned by the circumstance to keep the case of the killed term soldier Luks Stepanyan under the personal control. The Minister was present at the burial ceremony of the soldier and assured his parents that the case will be fully investigated and revealed and all the responsible will be punished.

Concerning the news that when flying over the border areas on May 19 the helicopter of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan was shot by Azerbaijanis, the Spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan noted that no traces of shots have been found.
