Armenian Deputy PM and Minister of Agriculture visited Armavir to meet hail-affected population

YEREVAN, MAY 20, ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia Sergo Karapetyan and the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, the Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan visited the city of Armavir to get acquainted with the problems of the local population, affected from the hail. This was reported to Armenpress by the Spokesperson of the Armenian Minister of Agriculture Ani Smbatyan.
Armenpress got an alarm from the Mrgashat Community of Armavir Marz that the people of the communities of Arevik, Sovetakan, Shenavan, Haykavan, Getashen and Mrgashat came out and closed the way. They demanded that until the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan come, they would not open the road. In some communities of Armavir Marz the entire harvest has been damaged because of the hail.
