Armenia considerably increased grape wine export volumes to Russia

YEREVAN, MAY 20, ARMENPRESS: In the first three months of the year of 2013 the Republic of Armenia has increased the volumes of the export of the grape wine to the Russian Federation by 71%, in comparison with the same period of the last year. As reported by Armenpress, in the first three months of 2013 236 thousand 500 liters of grape wine was exported from the Republic of Armenia to Russia with the total customs value of 845 thousand 300 USD. By the data provided by the State Revenue Committee at the Government of the Republic of Armenia, in the first three months of 2012 137 thousand 700 liters of wine was exported from the Republic of Armenia to Russia. In the first three months of the year of 2013 the total volume of the export of the grape wine from the Republic of Armenia made 263 thousand 200 liters with the total customs value of more than 1 million USD.

The total volumes of the export from Armenia in 2012 made 1 billion 428 million USD. The total export volumes from the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation in 2012 made 280 million USD. During the previous year 962 thousand 600 liters of grape wine was exported from Armenia to Russia.
