Winners of ArmRockFest Contest Festival known

YEREVAN, MAY 18, ARMENPRESS: The winners of the ArmRockFest Contest Festival, held in Armenia for the first time, are already identified. The first place belongs to Hayard band, representing Armenia, the second place - Scratch The Floor, representing Georgia and the third place was given to the Armenian Metaphor group. As reported by Armenpress, at the press conference the producer of the ArmRockFest International Youth Rock Contest Festival Armen Sargsyan stated that the festival had quite a great response. “We have received much more from the festival than we had expected”, - stated Armen Sargsyan.

The ArmRockFest International Youth Rock Contest Festival, held on May 16-17 at Gabriel Sundukyan Academic Theater, was attended by 12 newly found groups, 8 – from Armenia, 4 – from Georgia and Iran. On the first day of the festival the participants performed world hits and on the second day they presented their own works.

The festival was organized by the singer Varduhi Davtyan, the producer Armen Sargsyan, the jury members – animator David Sahakyants, Suren Tadevosyan, the founding member of The Beautiful Project Andre Simonyan and the singer of the Nairi rock band Aydin Davudi.
