YEREVAN, MAY 18, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronyan touched upon the forthcoming match with Magnus Carlsen at the final round of the Norway chess 2013.
As reported by Armenpress, quoting the official website of the Tournament, after the 8th round Levon Aronyan said in particular: “The matches of the final round will start three hours earlier and that is why I should sleep well. In the morning my bicycle will wait for me. I think the match with Carlsen will not differ from the others”.
After the penultimate round Sergey Karyakin continues to lead the tournament table, having 5,5 points. The leader of the FIDE rankings Magnus Carlsen and the current World Champion Viswanathan Anand have 5 points each. Peter Svidler, Hikaru Nakamura and Levon Aronyan have 4,5 points.
In the last 9th round the following matches will take place: Levon Aronyan – Magnus Carlsen, Wang Hao – Viswanathan Anand, Ludwig Hammer – Hikaru Nakamura, Teimour Radjabov – Peter Svidler and Sergey Karyakin – Veselin Topalov.
