Edward Nalbandyan visited Diplomatic Academy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and MGIMO

YEREVAN, APRIL 27, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan, who is on an official visit to Moscow, paid a visit to the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on April 26. He made an extensive speech there on Armenia’s foreign policy before the ambassadors credentialed to Moscow, high-rank officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the faculty and audience of the Academy. The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that after the speech Edward Nalbandyan answered a number of questions on the Armenian – Russian cooperation, Armenia’s relations with neighbors, and foreign policy of the Republic of Armenia.

Before the speech Edward Nalbandyan met Yevgeny Bazhanov – Rector of the Diplomatic Academy. During the meeting Minister Nalbandyan expressed his gratitude for preparing Armenian diplomats in the academy for already 20 years, mentioning that many of the graduates of the Diplomatic Academy have become ambassadors and represent Armenia in various countries of the world.

Among other things Edward Nalbandyan and Yevgeni Bazhanov agreed to establish a closer cooperation between the Diplomatic School of the Republic of Armenia and the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Federation.
