U.S. Department of State underlines inadmissibility of military solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict

YEREVAN, APRIL 27, ARMENPRESS. There cannot be a military solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Acting Deputy Spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State Patrick Ventrell stated this during the daily press briefing held in Washington, DC, on April 26. As reports "Armenpress" among other things Patrick Ventrell underscored that the tragic loss of life in the war reminds that there cannot be a military solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. "Only a lasting and peaceful settlement can bring stability, prosperity, and reconciliation to the region," he said.

Also the Acting Deputy Spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State Patrick Ventrell reaffirmed that the United States as a co-chair of the Minsk Group remain firmly committed to working with the sides to achieve peace.
