NA parliamentary hearings on army-society interconnection development took place

YEREVAN, APRIL 15, ARMENPRESS: The Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia held parliamentary hearings on “Strengthening of army-society interconnection development: Institutional viewpoint and prior reforms”. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, the session was conducted by the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia Koryun Nahapetyan.

Speeches were delivered by the Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan, the Head of OSCE Yerevan Office Ambassador Andrey Sorokin, NA Deputy Tevan Poghosyan and other high-ranking officials.

The first session was concluded by questions and answers, during which the Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan answered the questions of the participants of the session.

The second part of the discussion was devoted to the army-society interconnection development from the point of view of the civil society.
