YEREVAN, MARCH 26, ARMENPRESS: “National Alliance of Democrats” party is not participating in Yerevan City Council elections because of financial issues. As reports Armenpress, this was noted by chairman of “National Alliance of Democrats” party, executive director of “National cooperation” fund Arshak Sadoyan during the meeting with journalists. At the same time he assured there would be no serous change in political field after the city council elections.
According to Sadoyan, in their correspondence Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and leader of “Heritage” party Raffi Hovhannisyan haven’t referred to his suggestions. So he is going to once again present his suggestion to Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovhannisyan.
In accordance with one of them, it is necessary to form a senate which would have members from 25 regions of Armenia and Diaspora. “That will be indeed a serous system change,” Sadoyan noted.
