Books gathered by book collecting to be allocated to Artsakh schools

YEREVAN, FEBRAURY 28, ARMENPRESS: A book collecting was organized in capital Yerevan, the books gathered as a result of the event are scheduled to be allocated to Nagorno Karabakh, Shahumyan district villages. Davit Jamalyan, organizer of book collecting, military expert told Armenpress, the genres of the gathered books vary, comprising of both textbooks and fiction. The interlocutor considers the historical books of more importance in the frame of the event. The children residing in emancipated districts should be acquainted with the history and victories recorded by their nation. Yerevan State University has also joined the initiative.Dozens of volumes of books were reportedly gathered by the students of various faculties.

The book gathering started a week ago, resultedly hundreds of books have been handed. The books will be taken to Nagorno Karabakh Republic. Similar events are of regular nature, often launched even by particular individuals.
