19-year-old Robert Aghasaryan fulfills grandmaster norm

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. The Chess Federation of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that 19-year-old Armenian chess player Robert Aghasaryan had no defeat, scored 6 points out of 9 and fulfilled grandmaster norm at the tournament A of Moscow Open Festival.

Young chess player Nikita Matinian (Russia) also fulfilled grandmaster norm at the same tournament. He had no defeat and scored 7 points.

Among other things the Armenian Chess federation stated that young Armenian chess player Artur Gharagyozyan scored 7,5 points out of 9 and took the third prize at the tournament C of Moscow Open Festival.
