Philharmonic Orchestra to introduce 4 concerts

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra will introduce 4 concerts to the public in February. The Press Service of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra informed "Armenpress" that on February 1 concert they the orchestra will introduce Rachmaninov’s Piano Concert No. 3 and Symphony No. 8 by Shostakovich. Eduard Topchyan will conduct the concert. On February 8 the orchestra will introduce Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Espagnol" and Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjues" (for guitar and orchestra). Alongside with the aforesaid masterpieces the audience will have an opportunity to listen to Symphony No.4 by Brahms (Soloist: Hakob Jaghatspanyan, guitar, Conductor: Eduard Topchjan).
On February 15 the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra will introduce Violin Concerto by Sybelius and Bruckner’s Symphony No.4 ("Romantic") (Soloist: Hayk Davtyan, violin (France), Conductor: Eduard Topchjan). During the concert of the orchestra, which will be held on February 22 the public will listen to Mozart's Piano Concerto No.21 and 12 Preludes by Debussy (Soloist: Yoon Soo Rhee from Korea, piano). The concert will be conducted by Nikos Christodoulou (Greece).
