Armenian “Little Prince” in Europe

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS: On November 10-13 the cultural event “Festival of Arts” will unite representatives of different fields of art in the capital of Rumania. Armenia will take part in the international festival presenting director Larisa Mangasarova's «The Little Prince» performance. In the interview with Armenpress's correspondent, the Art Director of the Puppet Theater after Hovhannes Tumanyan Ruben Babayan mentioned that the performance was liked and selected by the event’s organizers.

“The jury will watch 20-25 performances in three days and I think that if they have selected “The Little Prince”, it does have some interesting features in it”, - said Babayan. According to him, the festival is an excellent opportunity for experience exchange between different countries and new cooperation prospects. “I think the European audience will like the Armenian rendering of the famous classical work. Every person knows his or her own Little Prince. In this performance everything is with Armenian approach: either the musical solutions, or the art performance, or the actors”, - said the Art Director.

The financial expenses of the Bucharest festival participants are covered by the inviting party.

In 2011 the Puppet Theater took part in «Carnaval» first international puppet festival from September 26 to October 2 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Puppet Theater presented one of the famous works of Gabriel Garcia Marquez performed by a young director Zaruhi Antonyan.
