Hripsime Khurshudyan became Olympic Games bronze medalist

YEREVAN, AUGUST 5, ARMENPRESS: In the women weightlifting +75 kg tournament of London Olympic Games representative of the Republic of Armenia Hripsime Khurshudyan gained bronze medal. Armenpress reports that in total Khurshudyan recorded 294 kg. In snatch Hripsime Khurshudyan lifted 128 kg, and in clean and jerk 166 kg. Representatives of Nigeria and South Korea could achieve better results but failed their most important approaches.

In this category the Olympic gold gained Chinese weightlifter Zhou Lu Lu with a result of 333kg and the silver medal Russian Tatiana Kashirina with 332 kg.
