Judicial reforms will be essential for every citizen

YEREVAN, JULY 24, ARMENPRESS: Legal and judicial reforms 2012-2016 strategic reform of the Republic of Armenia is set to deal with the whole community and its every member. The Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan had a briefing with the journalists on July 24.

‘’This project is a complex of steps aimed at better Armenia, establishing more professional judicial and legal system, which will be free from risks of corruption and bureaucratic incidents. To be against such a program means become against development of Armenia, the overcoming of current challenges’’ the Minister stressed, Armenpress reports.

In the words of the interlocutor the peculiarities of the project is in its comprehensive nature, including advocacy, notoriety, and penitentiary systems. Here for the first time provisions referring to legal education are included.

Armenian President’s Assistant on legal issues Giorgi Kutoyan stated this program differs with its elaboration and adoption procedures, as it covers a wider range of issues.

‘’We are sure in the successful launch of the legal system program, which in accordance with its demand, will solve its tasks ‘’Kutoyan noted.
